Dosi Detergent Bottle

Pakian kavir industrial group started its work in 1385. Its purpose was producing knowledge based products which were not produced in Iran or did not have enough quality to fulfill customers’ needs.  Designing bleaching liquid and detergent containers is very important because of the sensitivity of contents in them. Also, the graphic design on the bottle or package should introduce the materials and chemicals, and be beautiful and attractive.

The purpose of this project is designing Dosi bleaching liquid and detergent bottle with considering preservation of product identity and improvement of portions and scales on the bottle. One the biggest market of this product is Kurdistan, Iraq and various cities of Iran. The main purpose of designing this bottle is customers’ recognition. In other words, customers should recognize “Dosi Brand” when they see this product on the shelves or in the shops. The designers try to use organizational colors which are proper to product’s function and help it to be outstanding and identifiable among others. Also, iconic illustration and minimal 2D dimensional forms are used in graphic design of the label.

Properties of the final design

  • Modification of scales in the forms of bottle and preservation of form identity in “Dosi” brand products
  • Graphic design of the label with iconic illustration and minimal 2D dimensional forms
  • Selecting proper colors which are appropriate for products’ usage
  • Using color contrast between bottle and label
  • Using form and graphic design to recognize the correct application of product and inducing it as an inedible product
  • Designing an ergonomic product for ease of gripping
